About MPI Offshore

MPI Offshore is based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. The company's focus is the management and operation of marine plant and equipment to effect the construction and installation of offshore projects.

Currently MPI Offshore operate and manage the MPI Resolution and her suite of offshore related equipment to facilitate the transport and installation of offshore projects to exacting standards of quality, safety and project execution.

Future developments will see major expansion of MPI Offshore to manage and operate further vessels, both in the transport and installation market and also in the access and maintenance sectors.

MPI provides a single-vessel solution for one or all of the following wind installation operations and services including Offshore Wind Installation and Oil and Gas Installation and Decommissioning.

 

Offshore Wind Installation

MPI provides a single-vessel solution for one or all of the following wind installation operations:

Monopile and transition pieces
Foundations
Array cabling
Transformer platforms
Met masts
Transportation
Project management

 

Oil and Gas Installation & Decommissioning

The MPI Resolution has the lifting and large load capacity, plus the ability to provide a stable platform in hostile marine environments, to provide an effective, competitive solution for the commissioning, decommissioning and maintenance of platforms and pipelines and the transportation of platforms and components.

With its ability to accommodate up to 36 personnel in addition to its 34-strong crew, the MPI Resolution is also ideally suited to provide support services.

Other Services

Other projects in which the combination of the MPI Resolution and MPI's specialist expertise may be able to provide a more efficient and cost effective service than conventional technology and methods include:-

1st Feb 2010 - MPI Resolution Thanet Wind Farm – Foundation Operations Update Monday 1 February 2010

During November 09 MPI Resolution completed her foundation operations in the Thanet offshore wind farm after successfully installing 84 No Transition Pieces (TP’s) and J-tube assemblies.

Resolution Operations Monday 30 November 2009

Resolution has just completed the installation of 84 No Transition Pieces at the Thanet Offshore Windfarm. The vessel charterers at this point of the project elected to transfer Resolution to installation of the Wind Turbine Generators leaving 16 No Transitions still to install by an alternative installation vessel.
