MPI Offshore appoints new Managing Director

MPI are pleased to announce that Mr Meindert van Genderen will join MPI Offshore with immediate effect.
Meindert has over 15 years of senior management experience in the fields of Chartering, Operations, Ship Management and New Building. Meindert has worked for more than 20 years in various positions for Nile Dutch Africa Line BV and Rolldock NV.
Meindert will work closely with Paul Gibson, Chairman of MPI Offshore Ltd and will report to Mr Eric Rikken, Technical Director at Vroon Group B.V.

MPI Offshore Takes Delivery of MPI Discovery Friday 4 November 2011
MPI Offshore Limited (MPI) is pleased to announce the delivery, in Qidong, People’s Republic of China, of the MPI Discovery, the second of two state-of-the art wind turbine installation vessels to be built at the Cosco Qidong Shipyard. The vessel left the Shipyard today, 28 October 2011.
