MPI Workboats formed

MPI Offshore are pleased to announce the forming of MPI Workboats in January 2009. Co-incidentally this formation coincides with the Launching of our second workboat 'Don Quixote' a 20 metre version of our first boat 'Sancho Panza'.
This vessel will be available for Charter end February. To enhance our fleet MPI Workboats have placed two further orders for 15m workboats with SouthBoats Special Projects Isle of Wight. Estimated deliveries August and December 2009.

MPI Offshore Limited (MPI) is pleased to announce the delivery, in Qidong, People’s Republic of China, of the MPI Discovery, the second of two state-of-the art wind turbine installation vessels to be built at the Cosco Qidong Shipyard. The vessel left the Shipyard today, 28 October 2011.

E.ON Climate & Renewables and MPI-Vroon have today signed a 6 year charter for the MPI Discovery, a specialist vessel used in the construction of offshore wind farms.

Thanet Offshore Wind Farm

During December '08 MPI Offshore finalized a third Party charter to take Resolution to assist with the construction of the foundations for the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm, now owned by Vattenfall the Swedish/German Utility.
