March 2011 – May 2013
MV MPI Resolution has been contracted to Centrica Renewables on the Lincs Wind Farm Project and successfully completed the installation of WTG foundations (monopiles and TPs) from April 2012 a smooth transition in June 2012 saw it move onto the topside contract installing tower sections, nacelles and blades.
The bespoke sea-fastenings designed within MPI’s in-house engineering facility allow for the efficient transportation of WTGs components for five complete offshore turbines. From the port of Esbjerg, Denmark, and working seamlessly with local Dockers, the MPI team was loading out the components using the vessel’s recently upgraded 600T Huisman crane before making the short transit across the North Sea to the Lincs field. There are 75No WTGs in the Lincs Field and works are completed in June 2013.
