MPI Workboats

Last Updated: Monday 1 March 2010

It was decided that there was a need for MPI to be involved in the smaller vessel market associated with offshore wind and this lead to the forming of MPI Workboats Ltd, a 100% owned subsidiary of MPI Offshore Ltd.

MPI Offshore Limited is jointly owned by Vroon Group BV and the original Management Team.

MPI Workboats operates fast catamarans for the transfer of personnel and equipment between the shore and the wind turbines.

Our vessels are constructed to a very high standard and are all built by one of the largest boat builders in the UK, South Boats Special Projects Ltd.

The fleet includes 15metres and a 20metre version, all being robust, fast and seaworthy and to work in challenging environments. The layout of the vessels has been designed with comfort and safety of the passengers they carry in mind.
