During December 2008 MPI Offshore finalized a Third Party charter to take MPI Resolution to assist with the construction of the foundations for the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm, now owned by Vattenfall, the Swedish/German Utility.
MPI Resolution has to complete its first five-year docking in Rotterdam, which is scheduled to start on 5 March. Once this docking is complete MPI Resolution will have its full complement of legs fitted to cater for the Wind Farms water depths of up to 35 metres. The charter period for Resolution end in February 2010.
